Both the toy box lid and retaining decorative back panel have rounded edges for safety. With the addition of the retaining back panel the toy box can double up as a seating area for your little ones - simply add some cushions, and it becomes a cute little snug, or reading corner.

The toy box has a protective lacquer finish which not only protects the toy box from scratching but also makes it easy to wipe clean.

This safari big toy box is made from sturdy, long-lasting wood making the toy box durable and robust. Safety is crucial, the lid has hand gaps so little hands can safely lift the lid without fear of trapping fingers. More importantly, to avoid the lid slamming shut on their little hands there is a safety hinge inside. As an added feature, we have included hand holes on either side of the toy box, so it is easy to move from room to room.
